Since 1982, Pycon has established itself as the technology leader in Burn-in Board design and manufacturing. With its full turnkey in-house capabilities from design, PCB fab, assembly and test, Pycon continues to excel in the ever-increasing challenges of burn-in boardspecifications - HIGH POWER, LARGE BOARD SIZE, FINE PITCH, HIGH SPEED SIGNAL INTEGRITY.

VARIETY OF PLATFORMS

Pycon has partnered with Aehr Test Systems to support the design and manufacture of burn-in boards for the MTX, ATX, MAX3, MAX4, and ATS12000 series test/burn-in systems. Pycon has provided thousands of burn-in boards to Aehr Test System customers worldwide. more >>

We also design and manufacture burn-in boards for test/burn-in systems by MCC, Reliability Inc., Wakefield, Despatch, among others. Maintaining good technical and business relationships with the largest socket vendors allows us to proactively participate in the development of emerging socket designs and board manufacturing techniques for new CSP packages.

HIGH POWER

With ever increasing demand for Power in devices, successfully implementing High Power distribution on Burn-in-boards has become critical. Noise margins have gone down while current requirements have gone up. With many years of experience and a highly technical engineering team at Pycon, we have successfully designed and implemented High Power distribution in excess of 1000W on Burn-in-boards.

LARGE FORM FACTOR / FINE PITCH

The latest technology "test during burn-in" (TDBI) systems such as the Aehr Test MTX and MCC HPB-5 have large board form factors for use in high density fine-pitch CSP devices. Our expertise and leading edge technologies in this challenging requirement allows us to design large arrays of 0.5mm pitch DUT cells across a 22" x 26" board size with very high drilling accuracy, super tight trace-to-hole and trace-to-trace clearances, and superb signal and power performance.

HIGH SPEED

Our seamless integration of manufacturing data and layout tools with simulation tools, has given Pycon the edge in High Speed Burn-in board designs. With 98% accuracy we can predict the signal integrity on our designs, before manufacturing the board. High Speed implementation is iteratively done in the design rather than in prototypes.
