PYCON Acquires Assets of CEIBIS Cody Electronics
Both companies to deliver a broad range of advanced technology burn-in and test products to semiconductor customers
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Jan. 4, 2008. Pycon Incorporated today announced it has agreed to acquire all assets of CEIBIS Cody Electronics Inc. The agreement was finalized on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Operations of both companies will continue until further notice.
The combination of Pycon and CEIBIS creates the leading domestic provider of burn-in boards to the semiconductor industry. The acquisition brings together the industry’s strongest burn-in board brands and most advanced technologies for design, PCB fabrication and assembly of a wide range of burn-in boards for multiple platforms. The move also accelerates Pycon’s strategic initiative to advance a powerful burn-in board offering, including RF burn-in boards and systems.

Pycon will begin executing the planned integration of the two companies’ operations, networks and customer service organizations to ensure a smooth transition and immediate value for customers, partners and investors. Ayub Rajput and Philip Wong continue as co-chief executive officers of Pycon. Scott Cody, CEO of CEIBIS, has agreed to remain with the management team of the combined companies.
